About Us
Welcome to our about us page.
We believe passionately in the healing power of alternative therapies and in their potential and ability to transform. Before we began our training in alternative therapies, we gathered and gained the following professional qualifications.
Over the last thirty years we have worked with and for people in many different settings and with many different types of people. We work in a person centred way and we very much believe in and practice, empowerment and offer an encouraging and enabling service.
We believe, when we take those first steps towards relaxing, slowing down, healing, we honour ourselves. We are listening too and taking action, following an inner nudge, that is asking us to pay attention. We believe the further we go from that voice of inner knowing/listening, the more stressed, in pain or dis-eased we become.
Reiki and the other treatments on offer here can help us all achieve success and balance in our lives, helping us to become the person we are meant to be. It’s a great honour to work with this beautiful energy and to help ourselves and others at this level.

Richard: MA Hons. French & German, (1992) Diploma Community Education, (1994) Certificate Adult Guidance. (2001) Richard is currently learning (BSL) British Sign Language. Richard is a Reiki Master Teacher and member of the UK Reiki Federation
From here in our professional roles, we have gone on and undertaken various training in different alternative therapies. We are now both attuned to Usui Reiki Master level and Richard is also a Reiki Master Teacher. We have been practicing Reiki since 2003.
OUR MISSION:
We have created a safe secure therapeutic space in which we might work together, helping to bring more healing and wellness to ourselves and to the world.
We have always worked with and for people and are compassionate and empathic in our approach.
We are both qualified and insured to practice the therapies on offer here.
